The worst pain to endure in life is spiritual, So devastating and annihilating to our lives, A desire in life is to bring me felicity, Spiritual pain is dead when Jesus arrives. You meet me at thy church's eternal gates, The deepened blue skies reveal my sight, Take my wretched hands and cleanse this evil, In my mind i see only your beautiful light. I seek your forgiveness and love, The removal of my spiritual pain, A taste so bitter sweet. A satisfaction of your beauty revealed, This compassion i shed for you, In heaven we shall meet.
